The Vivo X200 series will launch in India soon. While the company is yet to reveal the launch date of its flagship series, the Vivo X200 is now listed on Amazon, confirming its availability details. The e-commerce site has confirmed a few features of the flagships, suggesting that the Indian models will have specifications similar to the Chinese models. Vivo is not bringing the mini version to India and the lineup will only include a standard and a Pro version, according to the teasers. Here is a quick look at the specs and expected India price of the Vivo X200 phones.
In China, the Vivo X200 features a 6.67-inch 10-bit OLED LTPS quad-curved screen with support for PWM dimming, HDR10+, and a peak brightness of 4,500nits. It comes with a 5,800mAh battery that supports 90W wired charging. Just like other Chinese companies, Vivo also bundles a charger in the retail box.
The standard X200 model is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, featuring a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. This setup promises a good photography experience to users, something that remains to be seen.
The Vivo X200 Pro shares a similar display to the standard model but comes with a few improvements, including an LTPO panel with a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz and slimmer 1.63mm bezels. The Pro variant features a 200-megapixel Zeiss APO telephoto sensor. It even has support for Vivo’s V3+ imaging chip, which enables advanced features like 4K HDR Cinematic Portrait video and 10-bit Log video recording at 60fps.
The Vivo X200 Pro features a large 6,000mAh battery, with support for 90W fast charging. Both models in the X200 series are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, built on a 3nm process. The chip includes a Cortex-X925 performance core with a peak clock speed of 3.6GHz, promising top-tier performance. We will be testing both phones, so you can stay tuned for insights into their real-world performance.
The Vivo X200 Pro is expected to be priced under Rs 90,000 if the company plans to retain the old pricing. The Vivo X100 was announced with a starting price tag of Rs 89,999. Vivo could also decide to increase the price by a few thousand rupees, but nothing is confirmed yet. The Vivo X200, which is the standard model, could be priced under Rs 70,000. To recall, the Vivo X100 was launched at Rs 63,999. We will have to wait for a few weeks to know the official price of these flagship phones.
